Jon Downey

Chief Executive Officer

Jon Downey is an experienced leader in the aviation insurance industry. He served as vice president for United States Aviation Underwriters Inc., a role that progressed into senior vice president of Operations and head of U.S. Aviation for Allianz. Prior to being named chief executive officer at Titan Aerospace Insurance, Jon was the president and managing director of Assured Partners Aerospace.

Downey holds a bachelor of science degree in aviation maintenance management and an associate of science degree in aviation business administration, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He also holds a Private Pilot certificate, SEL, LTA and an airframe and powerplant mechanic’s license.

Jason Hendrix

President, Retail

Jason has 26 years of experience in the aviation insurance industry and has worked the last five years at Global Aerospace, Inc. as Vice President, Underwriting Manager. Prior to underwriting at Global, he spent 18 years as a broker. He has worked on a variety of aviation risks including large general aviation aircraft, government contractors, airlines, MRO’s, FBO’s, commercial fixed and rotor wing, financial institutions, and large managed fleets.

Jason is a Private Pilot and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Aviation Insurance Professional (CAIP) designations. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with a B.S. in Aerospace Studies with a minor in Aircraft Accident Investigation. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving with the 6th Cavalry Brigade from 1992 – 1995.

Michael Clark

Michael Clark has over 20 years of insurance industry experience almost all of it spent as a senior executive within the aviation and aerospace sector. He has served as the Head of the Aviation and Aerospace Business Unit at QBE where he and his team founded the Aviation Division in 2011, in a 50/50 Joint Venture with QBE’s Aerospace Syndicate at Lloyd’s of London, and quickly turned the business unit into one of the largest and most profitable underwriters in the global aviation insurance marketplace. Prior to QBE, he served for 10 years as a Senior Vice President at Old Republic Aerospace, where he led the Special Risk Division, overseeing a multidisciplinary team and a portfolio of specialty aerospace business in excess of $50,000,000 USD in annual revenue. He is a former U.S. Marine and an aviation enthusiast. 

Terry Britt

Founder/President Emeritus

Terry Britt has been involved in the aviation industry for over thirty years. A private pilot since 1982, Terry has his instrument ticket as well as his multi-engine rating. He is a past Chairman of the Gwinnett County Airport Authority, the third busiest airport in Georgia. He served for seven years as Vice-President and General Manager of the oldest FBO at KLZU. He is a true insurance professional and holds the prestigious designation of Certified Insurance Counselor, is a Certified Professional Insurance Agent and holds the rare Certified Aviation Insurance Professional designation.  He has served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Business Aviation Assoc. (“GBAA”), has written articles for several aviation magazines and speaks regularly to organizations such as the National Aviation Transportation Association (NATA).

Robert Miller Stallings

Vice President of Sales

Miller is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill where he studied Business Management and Sociology.  Prior to joining TITAN Aerospace Insurance, Miller gained experience in aviation industry by working for an FBO. Miller is an instrument rated Multi Engine fixed wing and helicopter pilot. In addition to TITAN, Miller serves on the board of directors for The Helicopter Association International and is an active supporter in the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the National Air Transportation Association (NATA), and more.
